Hi — I’m Chris. I live in Leavenworth, WA and I created this blog to share pictures (mostly of rocks), recipes, and stories.

Rock Climbing

Some friends took me rock climbing for the first time in 2016 at Rumney, NH. I fell in love with climbing after moving back West and discovering crack climbing at Index, WA.

Snowboarding

I started splitboarding in 2018 and am fortunate to have ridden in some cool places despite a hip condition that makes skinning very difficult for me.

Website

I am not a software engineer, but I’ve been able to build this website for free on GitHub thanks to AI. I used the Al-Folio Jekyll template to get started, and I use S3 with Cloudfront to serve my images.
